Love Island's 2017 series was the most sizzling television show to hit the small screen over the summer last year.And ITV bosses are reportedly going to sex up the show even more as they are said to be in talks over putting on live Love Island performances.The tour will see the Love Island couples take part in challenges and be interviewed in front of a live audience across the country later this year, according to The Sun. A television insider told the publication: 'No one could have predicted Love Island turning into a huge phenomenon last summer. 'ITV raked in millions through advertising but they know they can make even more money with the right projects.  'One such idea being discussed is taking it on the road so fans can fork out their hard-earned cash to get up close and personal with the stars of the show and alongside this they could sell a huge range of merchandise.'Love Island's host Caroline Flack, who has presented the series, is believed to be stepping up to host the nights for the show's adoring fans. An ITV spokesperson confirmed to the newspaper that talks discussing a live show are underway. MailOnline has approached ITV representatives for comment. The sexy 2017 series was steamiest show on over the summer last year which drew in an impressive growing audience. Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies, who have since split up, were crowned the king and queen of the villa after winning over the hearts of the nation.A whole host of reality stars from the villa have cashed in on their new-found fame and status with glitzy nightclub appearances as well as meet-and-greets.There were 60,000 applications from singletons across the country in just 12 hours when the ITV bosses launched their hunt to find candidates for the upcoming series.Now Love Island is said to have received 150,000 applications, according to The Daily Star.
