The TLC stars seem to be taking on too many commitments.
the stars of TLC’s latest reality show series Outdaughtered have been working hard to maintain a happy lifestyle for their extra-large family of six daughters by taking on an extra business in order to make ends meet.
Adam and Danielle Busby are part owners of a franchise of Rush Cycle, a fitness center in their town of League City, Texas.
During one episode of the highly-rated TLC series, the couple pondered the idea of opening up a business to help the family’s financial situation.
Raising a family of six girls, including quintuplets, is a costly endeavor. Danielle Busby is a stay-at-home mom, while Adam Busby works at a family business with his brother-in-law.
Prior to opening the new business venture, the family sat down with a financial counselor, who calculated that the cost to raise their large family would be almost $2 million dollars.
In order to send their daughters to college, the family, realistically, would need to save $6,000 a month.
After much calculation, the couple realized they needed another way to bring in extra cash without compromising the values they want to instill in their children.
Thus the idea for Rush Cycle was hatched.
The business officially opened this past July, and the family has been heavily promoting it on their social media pages.
The Busby’s reportedly invested $100,000 in the business, which they went into with two other couples who are friends of the duo.
According to the site’s official page, the group “met in a gym through a mutual friend. Owners Todd, Priscilla, Adam, Danielle, Pete and Kylie soon became close friends as they discovered they lived in the same subdivision and shared the same passions of being active, getting together with friends, and prioritizing faith and family.”
It was Pete and Kylie who brought the idea up to their friends, after trying indoor cycling classes in Downtown Houston and realizing there could be a potential for a successful business in their suburban area of League City, Texas.
Outdaughtered is one of TLC’s leading summer series, and the Busby family is a surprise hit for the network.
Will they be able to balance their new commitments in addition to raising six children, filming and promoting the series, Adam’s regular job and Danielle’s mom duties?
Only time will tell if being stretched thin will take its toll on the young family, but with the help of Danielle’s mother Mimi, her sisters, Adam’s family and their community, the Busbys will definitely do the best they can to secure their precious daughters’ futures.
